Imma be honest, I haven't hd a chance to truly play the game with friends. I've just messed around on my own. It seems awesome, but Im just upvoting it because tfs is great and I want to support them.. Great couch party game fun characters settings weapons and music. No online multiplayer... yet. Glad I bought the game its full of heart and is fun to play even if its hard for me to play games like this when there's no online mode. all and all great game with friends and must have controller to play at the moment. I recommend this game as its exactly what it promises. It's a great couch co-op game. 90% of the negative reviews seem to be because they didn't see where it mentions its for 2-4 players only currently. While i'd love a single player mode i think the only way that's going to happen is if this doesn't bomb. So in the meantime id recommend picking this game up as a fun co-op game and hope that a single player mode comes along.. This is a couch-party game, with no online or CPUs. While this is a shame, the experience of local play still won this game over for me. The multiplayer is fast-paced and stupid fun with varied characters and weapons at your disposal. I can only recommend buying it if you have a group of friends willing to play along side you, in order to partake in the game's nostalgic coach-play. Oustside of that narrow field, there isn't anything that would appeal to a single-player experience.. Its a solid couch co-op, but it is only couch co-op. So if you don't have friends to play with locally you won't get anything out of this. If your a fan of TeamFourStar and have the players buy it its good fun.. its a fun game but there is no single player mode, and you cant even play on your own. i had fun with my roomate but be warned if you chose to play alone you cant even fight the cpu. i would only recomend as a party game for a group of friends you may have lots of fun but as a game for just one person i cant recomend it.. I want to be upfront right now.The only reason I am NOT RECOMMENDING this game is due to a lack of online multiplayer and a lack of single player mode. This is a Local Multiplayer Only game.This is a fun game with some great characters. But without any kind of Single Player Mode for those who don't have friends who can come over to their house often, it's hard to recommend this.. I was hyped for this game and really want to support TFS, but unfortunately it lacks any kind of singleplayer mode as well as online multiplayer. Controls are also somewhat confusing and there's no way to use mouse and keyboard that I've discovered. Perhaps these things may be added in the future, but for now I cannot recommend this game.. PROS-Fun-Cheap-Good voice cast-Original gameplay-Promises of future content-Easy to run (everyone pretty much should be able to run this at a good FPS)CONS-No singleplayer (maybe an arcade mode\/ survival mode and training)-No online (not much of a problem for me but others probably want it more). -no single player: no AI and I understand that may be hard to code given the rest of the game, oh well it is early access -no online: ok... so I have to have my (non existant) friends help me play this... ok -custom layouts don't work:... So... the only control scheme we're allowed is the default... but why though? what we're given is an early access that's just a touch too early for the public. Interesting concept though.
