Game is still in progress, but developer is actually really cool and works on improving the game a lot. Good buy.. pretty good game. The kinda game you can sit and get stressed out over and also have a laugh at with your friends.I'm yet to play the multiplayer feature of the game but im sure it will just add more enjoyment to the game.. So today I took a look at a new game.It's a fun little indie game but it needs a lot of work still, my biggest gripe would be that you can't move and attack at the same time. This is a twin-stick style arcade shooter/beatemup/ripoff of The Binding of Isaac. Low effort twin-stick graphics coupled with tired gameplay results in a poor quality flop. The game is extremely buggy, and only supports keyboard and gamepad... but the keyboard bugs out and can crash the game on launch.It's impossible for me to recommend a game that doesn't work reliably with a keyboard and has such terrible crashiness.. Funny, short, cute.. This game is very challenging at times but it also gives you the feel that you CAN beat it. There are so many variables in each level that in some instances, you may have a better chance at completing a level. In others, you may be set up for failure. There have been plenty of times where I shouted "Oh come on!" at my screen but it always felt so rewarding when I finally hit a save point. It's kind of Isaacy, shmupy, and derpy... which I love! I do recommend this to my friends who love a silly game.. This game is unbearably broken. Just, just don't get it. I like the art style and it looks fun but there is basically no explanation of controls. So you sit down and slide your entire hand down your keyboard to try and find the right button to do the right thing, and then you have to click each button to narrow it down to the correct button. And this isn't game breaking but you can literally pause the title screen. Wa- what?! I got into the game FINALLY and then my character just wasn't moving at all. I tried every single button on my keyboard. Just don't get this game, it's not much money but don't waste your time. And it doesn't seem to have full controller support. This is the first negative review I've written and I've got to admit, I kinda feel bad but this is just outrageous.And the developer has Disposable Heroes 2 on steam greenlight so hopefully the next game is much better and I can give it a positive review.. I seldom write reviews of games but I felt I needed to for this one. I love indie games, Early access never discourages me, but this game is nearly unplayable to me. The options are useless, the controls are terrible and unresponsive, combat is boring, room transition doesn't make any sense, the narration is VERY loud and obnoxious with no option to lower its volume. It could be because my rig isn't that great, but the main menu is leggy as hell, everything about this game screams VERY early access, i regret buying it even at 50% off, i hope they overhaul it entirely before it's release. Disappointed.TL:DRDont buy unless you want a laggy, slow, lackluster game with awful controls.
